Healthy Snack Ideas With Opal® Apples

Ingredients

Opal® Apple slices

  • almond butter
  • chopped walnuts
  • honey

Opal® Apple slices

  • avocado slices
  • red pepper flakes
  • sea salt

Opal® Apple

  • cinnamon
  • coconut flakes
Directions:
  • Opal® Apple slices + almond butter + chopped walnuts + a drizzle of honey (optional).  This is the perfect combination of salty and sweet and is a great substitute if you’re craving a candy bar or cookies.
  • Opal® Apple slices + avocado slices + red pepper flakes + sea salt. This is a more savory combo that’s great for when I need a snack to really fill me up. It also helps to add a protein source such as hummus, meat, or even tuna salad.
  • Opal® Apple slices + cinnamon + coconut flakes. This is the snack I turn to when I really just want apple pie and warm cookies. I even love frying the apple slices in a little coconut oil on the stove to warm them up before adding the cinnamon and coconut flakes.
